Hello, Ellen

It's so good to hear from you. How are you doing?

I'm writing to you because of your last email about eco-friendly schools. My school building is pretty small, in total it has about 30 different rooms, some are classrooms and others are teacher's lounges. On a typical day, we have class for a total of 6 hours, with 20-minute breaks in between of every 2 hours. Sometimes in between periods, we have to change classes in order to get to our next class.

In our school we use different recycling bins for every type of residue (paper, plastic, organic…). We also try to regulate the quantity of water we use. We could be more sustainable by banning every type of plastic and by using less the air conditioner, especially when it's hot.
